Day 1 - Los Angeles/Hanoi
Depart the USA on your China Airlines trans-flight for Hanoi. Cross the International Date Line.
Day 2 - Hanoi
Arrive Hanoi and transfer to your hotel. Water puppet show in the evening. (The Lapis/Melia) (D)
Day 3 - Hanoi
Visit Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, his former residence, the 900-year-old Temple of Literature, the Fine Arts Museum and the Central Market. (B/L)
Day 4 - Hanoi/Halong Bay
Travel by road from Hanoi to Halong Bay via Haiphong. (Wyndham Legend) (B/L/D)
Day 5 - Halong Bay/Hanoi
Enjoy a morning cruise around Halong Bay where limestone formations rise steeply out of the water to form thousands of uniquely shaped islands. Return to Hanoi in the afternoon. (The Lapis/Melia) (B/L)
Day 6 - Hanoi/Danang
Fly to Danang and visit Cham Sculpture Museum and ancient town of Hoi An. (Boutique Hoi An/Palm Garden) (B/L/D)
Day 7 - Danang/Hue
Drive to Hue and enjoy the mountain views over the Hai Van Pass. Visit the royal citadel and take a boat trip along the Perfume River to the Thien Mu Pagoda. (Eldora/Silk Path Grand Hue) (B/L/D)
Day 8 - Hue/Ho Chi Minh City
Fly to Ho Chi Minh City. Afternoon sightseeing at the Presidential Palace and Cholon Chinatown district. (Liberty Central/Sofitel Plaza) (B/L)
Day 9 - Ho Chi Minh City
Visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, the Quang Pagoda and Chinese Market, the History Museum and Notre Dame Cathedral. (B/L)
Day 10 - Ho Chi Minh City
Drive to My Tho. Visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda. A boat trip takes you past fishing villages and farmlands of the Mekong Delta. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon. Dinner includes a musical performance. (B/L/D)
Day 11 - Ho Chi Minh City/Siem Reap
This morning, fly to Siem Reap, Cambodia, to visit the ruins of Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom, perhaps the most extensive temple ruins in Asia. Angkor Wat was built in the 12th century and dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu. Carvings on the enormous central towers are marvelous in both detail and extent. Day 12 - Siem Reap
Spend full day around Angkor Wat/Angkor Thom with a comprehensive tour and time to look around independently. (B/L/D)
Day 13 - Siem Reap/Phnom Penh
Today, fly to Phnom Penh. Afternoon tour includes the National Museum with its fine collection of Khmer art and the Royal Palace with its Silver Pavilion. (Duong Chan/La Rose Suites) (B/L/D)
Day 14 - Phnom Penh/USA
Board China Airlines flight back to the USA, and arrive home the same day. (B)
